Army War College Nigeria Inducts New Members To Distinguished Fellows Family

The Commandant Army War College Nigeria Major General Charles Ofoche decorated 2 Members of Faculty with the Distinguished Fellows Award during an investiture ceremony held in the College on 19 Febraury 20. During the event, the Commandant conferred distinguished fellowship of the Army War College Nigeria on Brigadier Generals Ibrahim Bindul and Everest Okoro. The recipients of the prestigious award who were decorated with the College brooch are qualified to use the appellation Fellow War College Dagger (fwc+). The Commandant charged the awardees to give their best for the progress of the College and the Nigerian Army. The Distinguished Fellowship Award of the College is conferred as an honour on any Directing Staff who has taught for a minimum of 2 terms and served for a period not less than 12 months without blemish. It could be recalled that about 3 weeks ago the Commandant performed similar ceremony where he conferred the prestigious award on 4 Members of Faculty. Since the inception of the College in 2017, 14 senior officers have so far been conferred with the distinguished fellowship award.
