The Army War College Nigeria was established on 28 February 2017 and conceptualized to develop the capacity of Nigerian Army officers in Operational art including Campaign  Planning and management of war as well as the development of basic strategic skills.

    Admission

    The Course is for Lt Cols/Cols and equivalent in other Services. Officers from paramilitary and other security agencies are allocated slots subject to Army Headquarters approval based on vacancies available. Military officers attending the course must have attended the Senior Staff Course to qualify. Readmore
